Loyale Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Who these terms are between
Us. Loyale is operated by Loyale Programming and Graphic Design W.L.L, a limited liability company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain under Commercial Registration number 135962-1. In these terms, "Loyale", "we" and "us" mean that company.
You. "You" means whoever uses the Loyale app.
Merchants. The shops, cafés and restaurants that take part in Loyale are called merchants. They are independent businesses. Loyale is not their agent and does not own, run or supervise them.
Accepting these terms. You accept these terms by creating a Loyale account and using the app. If you do not accept them, do not use Loyale.
Contact. For anything in these terms — a question, a complaint, a dispute — write to [email protected] or message +973 6665 9995 on WhatsApp.
1. What is not yet switched on
- Loyale does not take payment from you today. Where the app lets you place an order at a merchant, you pay that merchant at the counter. In-app payment is being built and is not live. These terms and our Refund Policy will be updated before it is switched on.
- Where a section below describes in-app payment, it describes how the system is built to work, not something already running.
2. Your account
One account per person, tied to your mobile number. You sign in with a code sent by SMS. Keep your phone and your number secure — anyone who can receive your codes can reach your account and your balance.
Give us information that is true. If your mobile number changes, tell us, so your balance does not become unreachable.
You must be 13 or over to hold a Loyale account.
3. Points and stamps — how they work
Loyale runs two reward mechanisms, and each merchant chooses which it offers.
Points. You earn points on qualifying purchases at a participating merchant. Points are shown in Bahraini Dinars so you can see what they are worth. Each merchant sets its own earn rate and its own rules about what qualifies.
Stamp cards. A stamp card is defined by two numbers, both set by the merchant: how many stamps you collect, and how many stamps are needed to redeem a reward. You earn stamps on qualifying purchases and redeem when you reach the number.
The merchant sets the rules, and the merchant honours the reward. What earns points or stamps, what they are worth, what a reward is, and whether an offer excludes certain items — all of that is the merchant's. Loyale records it and runs the mechanism.
4. The important limits on points and stamps
Please read this section. It is the part people are most often surprised by.
- Points and stamps have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, and we will not buy them back.
- They are not your property and they are not a deposit. They are a record of an entitlement to a reward from a merchant, under that merchant's rules.
- They are personal to you. They cannot be sold or transferred, except through a gift feature inside the app where one exists.
- They can expire, where the merchant's rules say so and where that rule was shown to you.
- Deleting your account ends your points and stamps. They cannot be reinstated afterwards. We will tell you this clearly before deleting anything.
- If a merchant leaves Loyale, its points and stamps stop being redeemable with it. We will tell you as far ahead as we are able, but we cannot compel a business to keep an offer open.
- We may correct a balance that is wrong. Where points or stamps were awarded by mistake, by a fault in our systems, or through misuse, we may reverse them. Where we do, we will tell you why.
5. Redeeming
Redemption happens at the merchant, at the point of sale. You show the app, the merchant confirms it, and the reward is given by the merchant.
The reward is the merchant's obligation, not ours. Loyale records the entitlement and makes it visible; the merchant supplies the food, drink, product or service. If a merchant refuses a reward you believe you are entitled to, tell us at [email protected] and we will take it up with them — but the goods or service are theirs to provide.
6. Orders placed in the app
Some merchants let you place an order through Loyale. Where they do:
- Your contract for the goods is with the merchant, not with Loyale. The merchant prepares and supplies what you ordered, sets the price, and is responsible for its quality, its accuracy and its safety.
- Loyale passes the order to the merchant and shows you its status. Where a merchant uses a till system such as Foodics, the order reaches that system.
- A merchant can reject or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable or the branch is closing. You are told when that happens.
- You pay the merchant at the counter. In-app payment is not live; see section 1.
7. Fair use
Do not use Loyale to defraud a merchant or us. That includes creating multiple accounts to claim an offer more than once, claiming points for purchases that did not happen, using someone else's account, exploiting a fault in the app instead of reporting it, or reselling rewards.
Where we find it, we may suspend or close your account and reverse the balance obtained that way. We will tell you what we found and you can respond.
8. What we promise, and what we do not
We do our best to keep Loyale working. We do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may suspend it for maintenance, and we will keep that as short as we can.
We may change or discontinue features, including a merchant's participation, an offer, or a mechanism. Where a change would take away something you have already earned, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to use it.
What we are not responsible for. The quality, safety or legality of anything a merchant sells you; a merchant's decision to leave Loyale or change its offer; or a loss you suffer because your phone or your mobile number was compromised.
Our liability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability to you in connection with Loyale is limited to the value of the points and stamps on your account at the time the issue arose.
Your statutory rights are untouched. Nothing here reduces any right you have under the Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 35 of 2012) or any other law of Bahrain.
9. Suspending or closing an account
You can close your account at any time, in the app or by writing to us. Remember that closing it ends your points and stamps.
We may suspend or close an account where these terms are broken, where we reasonably suspect fraud, or where the law requires it. Except where we are legally prevented, we will tell you why and you can respond.
10. Privacy
What we collect and what happens to it is set out in the Loyale Privacy Policy. It forms part of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We will change these terms as Loyale changes — in particular before in-app payment is switched on. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or by message before it takes effect.
12. Law and disputes
Tell us first. Most problems are settled in a message. Write to [email protected] and a person will read it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of Bahrain have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
